Hi! My name is Courtney.
My husband is Ryan.

I have been trying to conceive for 8 years now. I have unfortunately experienced two bio-chemical pregnancies within the past two years. We have had countless medicated cycles, 11 IUI cycles (intrauterine insemination), a cancer scare, followed by a LEEP procedure (removed the pre-cancerous cells), another surgery to remove fibroids, & about a million tears during this journey.

When I was 19, I got diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome.) at that time, no doctor could tell me much about it at all. I didn’t start to learn more until I was about 25 and couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t get pregnant. Now, fast forward to age 32 and there is much more known about pcos and very openly talked about.

We have talked about IVF for a year or so, here and there, but a few months back I took a leap and made a consult with CNY fertility and on may 9th, I had my consult and were officially patients there! Our next step is to go get a bunch of tests and scans done, then we’re good to start our cycle. The problem is, you have to pay for all medications up front at the beginning of the cycle. We are currently in the middle of purchasing our first home and moving June 1st, 2024 so finances are not the greatest for us. Plus the medications will cost $4k-$5k and then another $5k for the procedure. We will be paying 100% out of pocket, due to not having insurance that covers any fertility. We have already paid over $5k at our current doctor. We do not ask for help and this is very much out of my comfort zone, but I know I’m not getting younger & I would do anything for my sweet baby to be more than just a dream.
ANYTHING will help. And if you’re not able to help financially, praying for us to finally have the child we have begged and pleaded for, for so many years will be just as appreciated!

If you’ve made it this far, thank you so much for listening to me ramble on about the worst thing I’ve had to endure in my life. The one thing I wake up and fall asleep and it’s always right there on my mind. The thing in life that has made me ask, why can’t it just be me? Why can’t we just have ONE baby? I’d be the best mama I could ever be. This one thing means the world to me to have. And not being able to have it without thousands of dollars, is really hard. We work so hard, but sometimes we struggle and live paycheck to paycheck and don’t have no fun, or leisure. Our extra income has went toward our baby that unfortunately hasn’t came to earth yet.
